A carefully selected trunk mat is a useful companion for regular errands and longer trips. It separates routine luggage contact from the underlying carpet and allows accumulated dirt to be dealt with outside the vehicle. If you use Tesla Model 3 for grocery trips, unload bags before inspecting the mat. This keeps crumbs and grit from being hidden beneath the next load.

This application is listed for Tesla Model 3 2017-2023. Match the vehicle designation and the stated 2017-2023 production range before ordering. Also compare your actual trunk layout and any movable load-floor arrangement. The title should not be used to assume coverage of a different generation or configuration.

During the colder months, wet footwear and outdoor equipment may bring residue into the boot. In summer, sand and dust are more common. Regularly lifting the mat lets you check both surfaces rather than only the visible loading area.

The 3D designation identifies the product range in this listing. This luggage-area product should be selected against its own application, rather than assuming the same construction or coverage as passenger-footwell mats. Use the care guidance supplied with the product and check the surface regularly. Begin with dry cleaning so small stones are not rubbed across the surface. Wipe remaining dirt gently and use only cleaning methods suitable for the product. Rinse away residue where the care instructions allow it, then dry both sides completely. Reinstalling a damp mat can hide moisture beneath it.

Remove loose overlapping covers before fitting and clean the original trunk floor. Place the mat in its intended position, check its edges and keep access points clear. Do not force a section beneath trim or around moving parts. Recheck the arrangement after lifting the load floor or changing the rear-seat position.

A trunk mat is a covering, not a luggage restraint or pet restraint. Secure loose items using suitable vehicle equipment and do not rely on surface texture to hold them in place. Keep heavy or sharp items from pressing unnecessarily against the covering. For complementary passenger-footwell protection, explore the 3D floor mat range. Our guide to separate mats and combined sets can help you decide which interior areas need attention.
